Korean Papermakers Look for Renewed Anti-Dumping Duties
Sept. 26, 2006 - South Korean papermakers are hoping their government will continue to impose, and possibly increase, tariffs on certain papers imported from China and Indonesia as the expiration date for the tariffs' policy draws near.
Currently, the Korean government imposes anti-dumping duties that range from 2.80% to 8.22% on wood-free uncoated papers and business information papers from Indonesia and punitive tariffs of 5.50 percent to 8.88% on those from China since November 2003
