July 11, 2006 - Caraustar Industries, Inc. said that it has notified customers of a six percent price increase on all paper tube and core product lines, effective with shipments on or after July 31, 2006.

Increases in paperboard pricing and other raw material costs associated with the manufacture of tubes and cores have necessitated this increase, Caraustar said.
