July 5, 2006 - The Newark Group said that it will increase its prices for tubes, cores, chipboard based headers, and chipboard sheets by 6%, effective with orders shipped on and after July 28, 2006.

The company said that the price hike is the result of cost increases in adhesives, labor, benefits, packaging and freight.
