Buckeye Chairman, David Ferraro, to Retire
June 2, 2006 - Buckeye Technologies yesterday said that David B. Ferraro, chairman and CEO, will retire in September 2006.
In anticipation of Ferraro's retirement, Buckeye's board has elected John B. Crowe, currently president and chief operating officer, to the office of chairman and chief executive, effective July 1, 2006.
Buckeye also said other management changes are being made in accordance with the company's succession plan that include:Kristopher J. Matula, currently executive vice president and CFO, will succeed Crowe as president and COO; and Steven G. Dean, currently vice president and controller, will succeed Matula as CFO.
