March 27, 2006 - Metso Paper, together with Metso Paper China, will supply a linerboard machine to Zhejiang Jingxing Paper Joint Stock Co., Ltd. of China.

The new machine, which will have an annual capacity of 300,000 tonnes, is scheduled to come on-stream in the city of Pinghu, in Zhejiang province in 2007.

The value of the order was not disclosed.

The scope of the order includes a complete three-ply linerboard machine, along with a dilution headbox and a shoe press, as well as a calender, and related service.

The new PM 12 will have a wire width of 6,150 mm and a design speed of 1,100 m/min. It will produce linerboard in the range of 125-250 g/m2.
