March 24, 2006 - Andritz said that it has received an order to supply a CrescentFormer tissue machine to Hengan Holding Co., Ltd., a leading manufacturer of high-quality tissue products in China.

According to Andritz, start-up of the machine, which will be installed at the Weifang City mill in Shandong province, is planned for July 2007.

The new PM 5 will have an annual production capacity of 60,000 tons and will contribute substantially to Hengan's annual production of 240,000 tons, Andritz said.

With a speed of 2,000 m/min and a width of 5,55 m, the machine will produce high quality tissue products that fit the increasing demand of the Chinese market.
