Appleton Names Two Vice Presidents
Feb. 10, 2006 - Appleton has announced the appointment of Kathy Bolhous as vice president and general manager of its performance packaging business. The company has also promoted Angela Tyczkowski to vice president, secretary and general counsel.
Ms. Bolhous comes to Appleton from Cascade Engineering, a company based in Grand Rapids, Mich., that is a leading producer of engineered plastic systems and components for automotive, solid waste and office furniture markets. She most recently served as vice president of that company's industrial solutions group, and previously served as vice president and general manager of Cascade Engineering's container product group.
Prior to joining Cascade Engineering, Bolhous served as vice president of International Resource Network, a Grand Rapids, Mich., consulting firm. She provided strategic planning services for company clients in addition to serving as the chief financial officer for International Resource Network.
Bolhous began her career in 1983 at the Holland, Mich., facility of Magna- Donnelly Corporation, a $20 billion Canadian-based supplier of automotive systems and components. Her job duties included quality control, materials management, operations management and marketing. From 1992 to 1995 Bolhous served as general manager of the heavy truck product line. Bolhous is a graduate of Hope College, Holland, Mich., where she earned a bachelor's degree in business administration and communications.
Ms. Tyczkowski joined Appleton in June 1996 as legal counsel. Since then she has served as the company's senior legal counsel, assistant general counsel and general counsel. Prior to joining Appleton, she was in private practice with Godfrey & Kahn in Green Bay, Wis. Tyczkowski earned a law degree and a bachelor's degree in criminology and law studies from Marquette University.
